The Spears Center Mission and Key InitiativesThe Larry C. Spears Center for Servant-Leadership, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Indiana. In February 2008, The Spears Center applied for recognition as a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3)). The Spears Center’s Mission Statement The mission of The Larry C. Spears Center is to create a more caring and serving world through the understanding and practice of servant-leadership, and with a primary emphasis upon the books and related publications by Robert K. Greenleaf and Larry C. Spears.
